I googled to check, but puffed corn cereal is definitely a thing. So I *did* have cereal for breakfast.

Mother of the Year Award #1

This is a series in which I present my case for the Mother of the Year.

Me: Why didn't you eat your sandwich?

Child: Um, it was too plain...

You see, I carefully made, cut and packed sandwiches with one tiny omission. I forgot to put the Nutella on them. Whoops.

Welcome, alleged Grown Ups!

There is a point, somewhere after leaving home, when you have to start looking after yourself. Making decisions. Not eating chicken McNuggets for every meal. And, more frighteningly, having to look after other people too.

Sometimes I feel confident in my decisions as a grown up. Sometimes those decisions as a grown up involve purchasing sweaters with bunnies on. That is pretty much what this blog is going to be.
